What’s trending in Bridal for 2017
According to the white Files!
I’m excited to share with you the White Files first editorial shoot for 2017 in a celebration of all things that can be expected to be trending this year, featuring gowns from some of our favourite Australian designers: Dan Jones, Silvana Tedesco and Georgia Young. Trends such as cut outs, off teh shoulder, two piece sets, pants, metallic’s, tassels and sheer gowns feature.
Dan Jones‘ gowns are an effortless fusion of luxe fabrics, with minimalist gowns that steer away from traditional bridal aesthetics. Featured, is an off teh shoulder grecian beauty – the added slit in the gown is the perfect modern twist. The second strapless gown with gorgeous cut outs which shows a slither of wait and back – the perfect amount of skin.
Georgia Young Couture is renowned for design, originality and crafstmanship. The gowns they featured are sheer perfection – literally. The first off the shoulder beauty has sheer paneling, perfectly complimenting the feminine form. The second is sheer with the most amazing intricate beading.
Brides who wear the pants are also in. We featured a gorgeous set from Silvana Tedesco Couture which pairs sleek high waisted pants with a gorgoues details bodysuit. The second look was a satin midriff crop with stunning cut out back detailing, and fitted skirt with a long train that is sure to turn heads as you walk down the aisle. The final dress by Silvana Tedesco is teh most sophisticated gown with a cut out of the waist and intricate detailing. The pairing of tehh traditional emballishment with a modern silhouette and cut outs make for the most perfect contrast for modern, fashion conscious brides.
